US Open Officials Application 2022
If you are at least 18 years old; and you hold a rank of black belt or black sash or instructor, or have otherwise been qualified by a recognized sport martial arts association as an official, we invite you to apply to be a US Open Official.
If you have officiated before at the US Open anytime after 2008, you may fill out the form below to apply to officiate next edition. US Open Officials are placed into one of three classes: A, AA, or AAA. Tournament Directors Murray Lamb and Mike Smith and Officials Director Livan Concepcion make a decision where you will be classed for the next edition of the US Open, based on length of time and performance in your current class if you are a returning US Open Official; or your experience level with major ISKA and NASKA-style events if this is your first US Open.
You will be contacted by email either way, whether your application is accepted or not. If accepted, your email will include a link to the rules and ring layouts being used, and information on your class, meeting times, judging schedule, and compensation.
Please fill out all applicable fields below, and check the boxes at the bottom confirming your attestation and agreement with the liability waiver. If you have any questions that have not been answered above, please contact us. Thank you for your interest in being a US Open Official.
